Thanksgiving Food Drive

Fairview Christian Academy will be hosting a Thanksgiving Food drive beginning Monday, November 2 to benefit local needy families. Each class will compete to see who can fill the biggest box with non-perishable food items, and all that is collected will be given to local families in need. If you would like more information about this, contact the school office or ask any member of the FCA Honor Society.

This year’s Fall Festival was a big sucess despite a spell of bad weather. The seniors were able to raise money for their senior trip and put on a fun event for local families at the same time.

Fairview Families:

Once again we stand on the threshold of a new school year. I am excited at the thought of what the Lord desires to do in each of our school families. As I consider what we do here, I am reminded as a parent of my responsibility to educate my children. Fairview Christian Academy is here to assist us in this process. It is our desire to give each student a world view that is in line with the principles in God’s Word, and the academic knowledge to help them accomplish the will of God in their lives. This takes a three-fold effort from the family, church and school, because each day our children are in a war against their own flesh, the world and our adversary, the devil. Please remember that while our standards are high, the need for these standards is insurmountable. Commit today to partner with Fairview Christian Academy in our endeavor to train up a Godly generation. I am looking forward to seeing each of you parents at Parent Orientations August 10th at 7:00 P.M.

Basketball Kickoff Jamboree

This year’s basketball kickoff jamboree was a success. The intramural teams got to play their first game in front of a sell out crowd. The Varsity girls were defeated by the staff team, while the boys were able to secure a victory over a strong, men’s staff team.

Fall Festival a Big Success

The annual Fall Festival was a huge hit this year. Our seniors were able to raise money for their senior trip while providing our families with a fun activity. Among the activities were horse rides, a cake walk, a silent auction, an arcade, a hot-shot competition, a bounce house and much more. Senior sold apple pies, hot cider, and hot meals.

Best of all, both Mrs. McElhaney and Mrs. Cronquist had to kiss the pig this year.
