There will be no school November 26-27 for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume normally on Monday November 30.

Basketball Kick Off Jamboree

On November 13, the Fairview guys basketball team will be hosting the annual fall Basketball Kick Off Jamboree. The Jamboree is a fund raiser for the basketball program where the current boys team plays a group of alumni. Call the school office for more details.

Gift for Jesus Campaign

The “Gift for Jesus” campaign will begin on November 11. This is an annual event where the entire school raises funds for a large gift to be given to a needy missions work.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Fairview Christian Academy will be hosting a Thanksgiving Food drive beginning Monday, November 2 to benefit local needy families. Each class will compete to see who can fill the biggest box with non-perishable food items, and all that is collected will be given to local families in need. If you would like more information about this, contact the school office or ask any member of the FCA Honor Society.

Teacher’s Convention (No School)

The FCA teachers will be going to the TACS teacher’s convention in Mruphreesboro, TN September 30 – October 2. Because of this, there will be a noon dismissal on Wednesday, September 30 and no school October 1-2. Enjoy

High School Wild’s Trip

The High School will be taking a trip to the Wild’s in Brevard, North Carolina on September 1-4 for Spiritual Emphasis Week.

THE WILDS offers each of its campers beautiful surroundings, staff and counselors that care, and practical spiritual direction. Every day is packed with “funtastic” things to do, such as hiking, swimming, water trolley, land trolley, basketball, crafts, rifle range, tubing, big ball volleyball, water slides, table tennis, frisbee golf, lake activities, climbing wall, human foosball and the giant swing. In addition to all the fun activities, there is a focus on Biblical guidance and direction. A daily personal devotional time called “God & I Time” gives practical instruction in Godly habits. Special services and chapels help campers personalize God’s Word in their everyday lives.
