On Friday, May 20, Fairview Christian Academy observed its 33rd graduation exercise. Six seniors: Hali Reynolds, Cheyenne Adams, Noelle Meyers, Katie Wilhoit, Michah Phillips and Ruben Villa, received their diplomas. This was truly an excellent class. Three of our seniors, Hali Reynolds, Cheyenne Adams and Noelle Myers, completed their course work with a 4.0 average and shared the honor of co-veledictorian.

FCA Handbell Ensemble – National Champions

Last month, the FCA Senior High Bell Ensemble went to the AACS National Fine Arts Competition in Greenville, South Carolina and competed against bell ensembles from all across the country, winning first place. Above is a video of their performance

Also, the FCA Senior High Bell Choir placed second in the national competition. These students, and their director Mrs. Jan Reynolds, deserve honor for the hard work and dedication that they put into this momentous achievement.

Grandparent’s Day

Friday, September 10th, Fairview Christian Academy was privileged to honor the grandparents of our students during our annual Grandparents Day. The campus was refreshed by the presence of over 200 grandparents and other family members who enjoyed a breakfast, a time of fellowship, family photos, and a performance from the student body. Below are highlights of the day’s activities.

Spiritual Emphasis Week

On September 14, the 7th-12th grades of Fairview Christian Academy will be loading up a bus and heading to The Wilds in Brevard, North Carolina for Spiritual Emphasis Week. For the past four years, this has been one of the highlights, the one thing students most often say was their greatest memory at Fairview.

At The Wilds, students will be in several preaching and praise services each day. Speakers for these services exhort, encourage, and council hundreds of teenagers each week. Students will also have a ton of fun. Activities will include the “giant swing”, the “blob”, the “land trolley”, a hike to the falls, “human fooseball”, “gazeeball” and much, much more.
