Last Friday, the falcons lost a pair of tough games to Tennessee Christian Academy of Cleveland. The girls varsity team led most of the game, mostly because of a strong performance by Hali Reynolds and the excellent play of Katie Wilhoit, both of whom are showing a marked improvement this year. In the end, it was fouls (or the lack of them) that put the Lady Falcons down.
The guys team had an even harder time. The Tennessee Christian guys brought their A-game and beat the Falcons handily.
This non-conference game was definitely good practice for both teams, as they both faced their first pressing team of the year.
