Dr. Jack Scallions, President
Dr. Jack Scallions is president and founder of Fairview Christian Academy. He has been involved in Christian education since 1977. He also serves as the President of the Tennessee Association Of Christian Schools and Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church.
Greg Ranck, Administrator
Mr. Ranck has been the Administrator at FCA since 2005. Along with his administrative duties, he teaches Math in the high school and coaches varsity boys’ basketball.
Mary Ann Davis, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Davis has been at Fairview since 1978, making her our senior staff member. Mrs. Davis serves as an assistant to the principal and director of our pre-school. She also teaches English on the secondary level.
Kathy Pedde, Elementary Principal
Mrs. Pedde has been with the academy since 1991. She serves as Elementary Principal and 1st grade teacher. She has also worked with the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools as an accreditation adviser.
Faculty
Cindy Cronquist, High School Social Studies/Math
Mrs. Cronquist has been at Fairview since 2005. She teaches history, math, and physical education. She coaches girls’ junior varsity volleyball. She sponsors the Honor Society and compiles the school yearbook.
Anna Newton, Computer/Piano Teacher
Mrs. Newton is one of our new faculty members. She is the wife of Fairview Baptist Church’s Youth Director, Alex Newton. She teaches computer classes and gives piano lessons. She also works on the Fairview website.
Richard Hughs, High School Science/Math
Mr. Hughs joined the Fairview faculty in 2010. He has over twenty-five years experience teaching in Christian education, of which, nineteen years were spent in Florence, Alabama, where he taught Math, Science, and Bible.
Barb Wilhoit, 2nd Grade
Mrs. Wilhoit has been at Fairview since 2001. She has been a teacher for over fifteen years.
Greg Wiseman, 3rd & 4th Grade
Mr. Wiseman has been teaching the 3rd4th Grade at Fairview for many years. He also serves as Assistant Basketball Coach and Elementary Chaplain.
Ginger Parson, 5th Grade
Mrs. Parson has been teaching at Fairview since 2009. She is graduate of Shawnee Baptist College.
Jennifer Howard, 6th Grade
Miss Howard is our newest faculty member. She taught English for 11 years in China.
KariAn McElhaney, K5
Mrs. McElhaney is a graduate of Fairview Christian Academy. She has several years experience teaching at Fairview.
Janice Reed, K4
Mrs. Reed is our “Kindergarten Grandma.” She has worked in the Kindergarten program over twenty years.
Shannon Steele, K2-K3
Mrs. Steele supervises our K2-K3 program. She joined the Fairview staff in 2008.
Brandy Phillips, K2-K3
Mrs. Phillips also works with the K2-K3 program. She has been at Fairview since 2008.
Support Staff
Connie Keeton, School Secretary
Mrs. Keeton is Mr. Ranck’s secretary and school secretary. She is here to serve both teachers and parents in any way that she can.
Anita Taylor, Teacher Support
Mrs. Taylor is our resident substitute and helper in the Kindergarten program and Late Stay program.
Paullete Scallions, Lunchroom Coordinator
Mrs. Scallions serves as our lunch lady. She has worked at FCA since her husband started the school in 1977.
Robin Frerichs, Custodial
Mrs. Frerichs does a wonderful job cleaning the church and has now accepted the responsibility of cleaning the school.
Dick Howard, Maintenance
Mr. Howard is our maintenance supervisor. Prior to working at Fairview, he served in posts around the world for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
